Let's start with the food. My wife and I have tried the Madonna and Margherita pizzas so far and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Lots of flavor, ingredients/toppings tasted and looked fresh. The service is friendly and quick; we only waited about 10 minutes for two medium pizzas and the cashier was quite welcoming for how busy they were, their phone was ringing off the hook. They also deliver and are very reasonably priced. Their amosphere is the main turn off for me; they have some booths for dining in but the space they are in is quite small and it gets VERY warm inside. I'm not sure they have central air conditioning to boot. The plaza they are located in is also unkempt and littered with pan-handlers, not that there is anything the restaurant could really do about it. All in all, an excellent neighborhood pizza place with good food at a great price. I would just recommend ordering carry-out or delivery for comfort sake.

Got a large pepperoni and order of garlic knots. The pizza was pretty good. Better than the regular chain places. The garlic knots were the only thing bad. They were doughy and not flavorful.

I..have had 3 of the pizzas one that I made with what I like...... the other 2 off the specialty menu....... Love all!!!!.........I am from Ct........... but have had pizza.... from everywhere up north............ this is the absolute closest to home....... thought I would never find a decent pizza in florida........ until now!!!! Thank you !!!! Brooklyn NY pizza of Temple Terrace..... had your Lazagna yesterday...... awesome...... garlic knots are the real thing..... onion rings!! perfection!!........ I will order new things from the menu...... Am sure I will not be disappointed.... !!!!! Thanks for great food.......... and service..... I am so happy you are here in Temple Terrace!! :)

I've lived within a mile of this place for nearly 10 years but just today got around to trying it for the first time. It's in a small strip mall area near a Winn Dixie and is kinda hard to see from the road as you drive by. We got a large half cheese and half pepperoni pizza, a small margarita pizza and 12 garlic knots. To be fair I compare all pizza joints to one of the best pizza places I've ever been to back in Maryland. Fyi For the pizza with HKG cheese and half pepperoni it was definitely on par with being a New York style pizza. I've eaten pizza in Manhattan and this is very similar in every way. Somehow it felt like this pizza didn't have quite as much flavor as the other New York pizzas I've tried but it was still very good. The sauce wasn't too meaty or overly powerful, the cheese was good quality, and the pepperoni while not the best I've ever had (think Pizza Hut) it was good. As long as it doesn't taste like hotdogs I'm happy. The crust is thin as expected and overall its a good pizza option, priced at $10.50 The margarita pizza while good also lacked a little something but overall was good. I'm comparing this to the CPK margarita pizza which is the best I've ever had. This pizza lacked the rich flavor I'm used to, it had way more cheese than you typically find at the big name joints which isn't a bad thing, the tomato pieces were pretty good but I found the crust to lack the expected flavor I was expecting. It's more of a muted flavor in the crust. Overall it's not bad but not the best I've ever had. The garlic knots also compared to the ones from my favorite pizza joint in Maryland were pretty close to that idea but I just the bread ingredients lack the flavor I am accustomed to in other pizza places. Not that it's a bad flavor it's just not a lot of it. The garlic knots are perfectly finger sized snacks, soaked in olive oil and garlic seasoning. These are to die for if done right and they come pretty close here. I'll give this pizza restaurant 4 stars because it's good, affordable and pretty close to the way I like my pizza and garlic knots. The only con is that it's not overt flavorful in terms of the crust or bread they use. I don't even know what's missing exactly but don't let that stop you from trying it out. They also deliver which is great for us locals.

The pizza is pretty good. As their name indicates, it's New York style pizza. I ordered the Little Italy and it hit the spot. The crust was thin and crispy, nice light flavor to the sauce and the combination of pepperoni, sausage, tomatoes, red peppers and basil was wonderful. Will definitely eat here again.

if I can give this restaurant no stars I would. I received my food from the delivery person and went to my desk. I saw a baby roach crawling on my desk, which was odd. I opened the salad to see yet another baby roach crawling out the box. then I moved the lettuce and there goes a 3rd baby roach. I called the restaurant immediately to let them know. She asked if I wanted a new salad or my money. Of course, I want my money back - I don't need another salad with roaches. She said she would refund $3 for the salad. I told her I want my full refund as I am not eating the pizza either. I'm sorry but if the salad is made in the same restaurant/kitchen as the pizza, there's a problem. She put a guy on the phone who told me I am only getting the salad refunded and hung up the phone on me while trying to explain to him I don't want to eat the pizza. I'm sorry but I'm pregnant and not trying to ingest food that is obviously contaminated with a problem. I'm pissed... Needless to say, I will not be ordering from the again.
